The doctors told Special Judge ML Tahiliyani that Kasav is more than 20 years old adding that they arrived at the age of the Pakistani terrorist after conducting forensic dental analysis, ossification test and X rays. The findings of the medical team is also submitted on Tuesday, Apr 28. The team of doctors who examined Kasav included four doctors of JJ Hospital.
The court also allowed special public prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam to examine witnesses comprising doctors and jailer. The verdict in this case will be pronounced on Wednesday, Apr 29. If the inquiry establishes that Kasav is a juvenile, then the case will be moved to Juvenile court. The maximum punishment prescribed under Juvenile Justice Act is 3 years.
