Kolkata, Apr 26: Rahul Gandhi, the AICC general secretary said that he would 'refuse' to become the Indian Prime Minister for now as he did not have the adequate experience. “I do not think that I have the experience to become the Prime Minister of the country now," said Rahul in a press conference.

He added that he want to strengthen the Youth Congress. He asked the media not to compare him with his father Rajiv Gandhi. Regarding the Sri Lanka war and LTTE, the young Gandhi said LTTE is a banned terrorist organisation which killed his father. “I am concerned about the plight of the Tamil civilians who are suffering due to the war," said Rahul.

He flayed the Left government in West Bengal and said, "the Left does not have the right ideas about growth. The Communist parties tend to have a focus on the poor. I don"t see that focus here. I was surprised by what I saw in Purulia." He also did not forget to shower praises on the Congress's newly found ally Mamata Banerjee of Trinamool Congress.
