Suicide bombing continues in Baghdad, 30 dead
Baghdad, Apr 24: Just a day after killing about 80 people in a suicide bomb attack, two more suicide bombing incidents have taken place killing 30 people and injuring about 60 people in the Kadhimiya district.
The attack took place near the tomb of Imam Mousa al-Kazim, an important Shiite saint where two bombers triggered off explosive belts one after the other within minutes.
Hundreds of people died on Thursday, Apr 23 when a similar suicide attack took place. The reason for the attack is believed to be the arrest of al-Qaida in Iraq, Abu Omar al-Baghdadi, was arrested.
Even though the incidents of violence has stopped over the past year, the insurgents continue to attack across Iraq.
