Maoists strike again in Jharkhand
Ranchi, Apr 23: Just few hours ahead of the second phase of Lok Sabha polls on Thursday, Apr 23 the maoist rebels attacked a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) camp and blew up a railway station in Jharkhand.
The official sources said that a gun battle between the militants and security personnel is still on in the West Singhbhum district. On Wednesday, Apr 22 the maoists blew up the Chiyanki railway station in Palamau district after which two people are missing.
There are also reports of explosion in Giridih and Jemshedpur. Earlier during the first phase of polling on Apr 16, 9 people, including 6 Border Security Force (BSF) men were killed in the maoist attack in Jharkhand.
