Argentine soccer star Tevez ready to quit Man U

By Super Admin

London, Apr.23 (ANI): Argentine soccer star Carlos Tevez is weighing up offers from other clubs regarding next season, as he is sure that Manchester United will not take up their option to buy him on a permanent basis.

According to the Daily Express, Tevez's two-year loan deal ends this summer and Manchester United, who have paid six million pounds in loan fees, are understood to be reluctant to pay 26 million pounds to Media Sports Investments, the owners of the player's economic rights, to make him theirs.

Tevez would like to stay at United, but is unhappy that coach Sir Alex Ferguson leaves him out of the big games.

"There are many players [at United] and they all need to play but I have not played in important matches, like the 'classico' against Chelsea. Those are the games that I like to play in," he was quoted, as saying.

"I have trained every day and never said anything against my team-mates or anyone, but it is true that there are other options for next season. I have many offers, not only from Spain. I need to see which club I can go to and what can be done. We must not only consider the money, I also have to ensure my family feel comfortable, especially my daughter," he added. (ANI)
