London, Apr.22 (ANI): Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney has warned key soccer rivals Chelsea and other teams that they can expect him to play football at his best when he confronts them on the field.

Despite heavy pressure from their rivals, Rooney claims he is feeling as good as ever.

"There is still a lot more to come from me. I would love to score more goals consistently each year. I am still working on that and hopefully I can improve. I am only 23 but I suppose I started off at an early age so I have achieved quite a lot.I understand people expect things of me now," The Sun quoted him, as saying.

"I just have to keep playing as well as I can. That is what I must try and do.If I can help Manchester United or England win trophies it would be great for me," he added.

Rooney, who has scored 17 goals this term, has been forced to adapt to different positions for club and country this season.ut the striker says he is happy to play anywhere. (ANI)
