Bangalore, Apr 22: The Bharatiya Janata Party prime ministerial candidate said on Tuesday, Apr 21 that if BJP-led NDA is voted into power then it will re-negotiate the Indo-US nuclear deal.
Answering a question on the nuke deal, L K Advani said that the party would take a decision based on the fact that any deal or treaty singed by the previous government can not be disregarded.
“I take cognisance of the fact that the government is a continuing body and any treaty or pact signed by an earlier government cannot be easily disregarded. This fact will be borne in mind and the government will take a decision," he said.
When asked if he would review the deal he said that it he could only answer it when he is in the government, and added that BJP would continue warm and cordial relationship with the United States.
