Dubai, Apr.21 (ANI): With security conditions in Pakistan remains far from improving, playing against it on neutral venue was the only option available, Australian cricket coach Tim Nielsen has said.
"The real positive is that we got Pakistan back into international cricket and the other option, obviously nobody wants to go there because of the circumstances out of control, it's fantastic to be playing here," The News quoted Nielsen, as saying.
Nielsen, who had toured Pakistan in 2005 as Australia 'A' team coach, said he was disappointed for the cricket fans in the country.
He hoped that people back in Pakistan would enjoy their home team play against Australia.
"It's fantastic to actually play against Pakistan players who are world class performers and, if nothing else, they take some TV pictures back to Pakistani young players and let them see their heroes play against us and I think it will help," Nielsen added. (ANI)
