Pak arrests 6th suspect, wants info from India

Lahore, Apr 20: Another suspect in relation to the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks has been arrested as per the confirmation given by the Pakistan's Interior Ministry chief Rehman Malik.

Pakistan so far has been able to detain six suspects in connection to the terror attacks, however, Malik has not disclosed any details about the sixth suspect.

Pakistan has asked India to provide more information in order to proceed against those arrested. Mallik has made it clear that without information from India Pakistan can not take any action against the suspects detained.

"We can't punish them unless we have proof," Malik told reporters.

Pakistan is looking forward for India to provide information acquired in probes, including the statement recorded in court by Ajmal Kasav and the charge sheet filed against Kasav.

Malik further added that Pakistan has always been against terrorism anywhere in the world and is making new national policies to counter it.

The interior ministry had arrested of five suspects Lashker-e-Taiba operatives Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi, Zarar Shah, Hamad Amin Sadiq, Abu al Qama and Shahid Jamil Riaz, who are in judicial custody.
