Cape Town (South Africa), Apr.18 (ANI): England all rounder Andrew Flintoff has shrugged off criticism that he should have his feet up ahead of the Ashes, instead of pocketing 500,000 pounds to turn out in the Indian Premier League.
Flintoff, 31, who plays for Chennai Super Kings against Mumbai Indians at Newlands today, insisted: "I'm going to learn a lot in the next couple of weeks. I'd be lying if I said the money does not play a part. But with that comes responsibility of performance.""I've missed a lot of cricket through injury so the more cricket I can play now the better for me. Also people are losing sight of the importance of the Twenty20 World Cup in England this summer. This is something we need to improve on," The Sun quoted him, as saying. (ANI)
