Srinagar, Apr 12: After seven months of peaceful existence, encounter again mar the state of Jammu Kashmir. On Sunday, Apr 12 the security forces killed one militant in an ongoing encounter in Pulwama.
The encounter began at the village of Aglar. Militants, who were hiding in a house, reportedly opened fire on the security forces during search operations. Army suggest that two militants are still holed up inside the house. Army suspects the terrorists are likely from Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM). As the Lok Sabha polls are nearing, the number of encounters in Jammu Kashmir is on rise also the infiltration threat along the Line Of Control (LoC)
