Congress started criminalisation of politics, says Nitish Kumar
Patna, Apr 12 (ANI): Janata Dal-United (JDU) leader and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Sunday blamed the Congress for starting criminalisation of politics in the country.
"If there is criminalisation of politics in the country, it is because of the Congress since that party started this trend," Nitish Kumar told reporters here.
Meanwhile, Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) chief Ram Vilas Paswan said that the Congress did not stand a chance in Bihar since the state is no more its bastion.
"The Congress doesn't have any hold in Bihar. Why should we feel scared?" Paswan said.
Paswan mentioned that his party's tie-up with the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) was strong enough to bag all the parliamentary seats in Bihar.
"There is no confusion in Bihar. The RJD and the LJP alliance will sweep the polls no matter what the exit polls say," he added. (ANI)
