Militants attack goods train this time
Haflong, Apr 11: Militants fired at a goods train in the North Cachhar Hills District on Saturday, Apr 11 morning injuring a railway protection agency personnel.
Official sources revealed that Dima Halan Daogah insurgents fired at the train near Warengdisa on its way towards Dijaonra from Lamdingat at 7.50 am. All trains on both sides of the tracks have been halted now.
On Friday, Apr 10 the same militant group attacked Barack Valley Express, a passenger train in Assam killing a CRPF jawan and injuring 14 passengers.
Dima Halan Daogah is a tribal separatist group, which is popularly called the Black Widow.
