New Delhi, Apr 11: India has rejected the allegations Lahore police made on Friday, Apr 10 that there was an Indian hand in the Lahore blasts where Sri Lankan Cricket team was attacked.
At a press meet, the Lahore Police claimed to have gotten more evidence of Indian hand in the attack
"Involvement of India is definitely there. There is some progress with the help of sister organisations. We will let you know at a later stage," said Lahore Police chief, Pervaiz Rathore.
India quickly dismissed the allegation.
"It is absurd and preposterous. Nobody has ever accused India of such things," Minister of State for External Affairs Anand Sharma said.
Lahore Police don't seem to stop there. Even after the Taliban leader has claimed responsible for the attack on Manawan Police Academy which happened about two weeks ago, Lahore police are now hinting at an Indian hand.
About a month ago Lahore had ruled out 'India's hand' in the Lahore blasts that happened on March 3.
