London, April 10 (ANI): Actor-turned-musician Billy Bob Thornton answered almost every question saying "I don't know" during a recent radio interview.
According to reports, he mumbled and stumbled through the 13-minute chat, particularly objecting to any references about his acting career.
Billy appeared with his band Boxmasters for the interview.
The Oscar-winner spent the first half of the interview acting very strangely, and shrugged off all of the questions presenter Jian Ghomeshi fired at him.
However, upon being questioned about his passion for music and juggling his band in between acting jobs, he lost his temper.
"We said do not talk about s*** like that and we also said not to discuss if music is my first love," the Sun quoted Billy Bob as saying.
"You wouldn't say that to Tom Petty, would you?" he added.
He even denied to agree that his silver screen status had contributed to the attention he was getting.
The DJ of Canada's CBC station later apologised, and urged to "call a truce" before discussing the group's album.
Thornton's publicist Arnold Robinson said he did not have any comment on the matter. (ANI)
