Islamabad, Apr 9: Asif Ali Zardari, Pakistan President has expressed hope of continuing the peace talks with India after the completion of election in the neighbouring country.
Zardari is looking forward to resume the peace process that was interrupted and reached a dead lock due to the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks. He said that his 'bold peace overture' have seen no 'positive response' from India.
Zardari has raised concern over India raising the defence expenditure. India alloted 24 per cent for defense fiscal.
He further stated that Washington "has assured us it will not carry out drone attacks in Balochistan." He added that US has taken into consideration the suggestions Pak has made regarding Afghanistan related issues. However, both nations disagree over the issue of 'drone attacks'.
