Patna, Apr 6: Rabri Devi, former Bihar chief minister is under Election Commission's scanner for her alleged negative remarks against Nitish Kumar, the present chief minister of the state. Rabir made derogatory comments against Nitish and state Janata Dal-United (JD-U) chief Rajiv Ranjan alias Lalan Singh at a poll rally in Saran district.
Rabri while speaking at an election rally said that everyone in knew what kind of relations they shared between them. “Lallan Singh is the sala( brother-in-law) of Nitish Kumar and Nitish is also the sala of Lallan Singh. They can be seen holding each others hands publicly. I will keep on saying this again and again," said Rabri
Lalu Prasad Yadav, the Union Railway Minister, Rabir's husband is the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) candidate for the Saran constituency in the coming Lok Sabha polls. JD-U in its complaint to the Election Commission of India said that the poll panel should disallow the former Chief Minister from campaigning. Nitish Kumar has said the JD-U will file a defamation suit against Rabri Devi.
