Sixth Malaysian PM, Najib sworn into office
Kuala Lumpur, Apr 3: Najib Tun Razak, the new Prime Minister of Malaysia has been sworn into power on Friday, Apr 3.
After the Malaysian economy took a hit, the Parliament suffered a loss of majority. This led to the former Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi to step down.
Son and Nephew of former Prime Ministers, Mr Najib has many responsibilities to fulfill such as the urgent work of bringing together the split forces of the party. He also faces allegations alluding to his criminal past.
