Its BJD rally, not Third Front's: Pawar
Bhubaneswar, Apr 3: Sharad Pawar, the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) supremo again does a flip-flop. He informed media that he will not attend the 'Third Front' rally at Bhubaneshwar owing to a 'technicalsnag' in the aircraft scheduled to take him to the venue. But he will address the rally over the phone, reiterating the fact that he is not with the 'Third Front'.
He added he was not aware that former Orissa CM, Naveen Patnaik had invited Left leaders to the rally. “This is limited only to Orissa, I am not a part of the Third Front," said Pawar. He added that the NCP-Congress alliance is still on. "This is not a Third Front rally but a BJD rally," said Pawar.
NCP chief's decision to attend the rally had earlier evoked sharp response from ally Congress with some leaders even accusing Pawar of ditch.
