London, Apr.2 (ANI): Meet the Russian golfer whose sex appeal matches her playing skills.

Maria Verchenova has made a huge impression on the Ladies European Tour circuit, but there is much more to her than her skills on the fairway.

When asked which was easier, modelling or golf, The Sun quoted Verchenova as saying: "re you kidding me? Definitely modelling. You just put some clothes on and pose. If golf was that easy we'd all be 20-under-par every tournament."

When asked whether she was bothered by the media attention because of what she was wearing, she said: "I enjoyed it. I always like to bring something extra special to the golf course, so if I'm wearing sexier, more stylish stuff like a shorter skirt or a nice tennis-style dress and people notice then great."

When asked how she would like to be known - as a sexy woman or a great golfer, she said: "I'll settle for both, thank you." (ANI)
