Nick Cannon buys Mariah Carey terrier for first anniversary
New Delhi, April 1 (ANI): Mariah Carey's hubby has gifted his wife a pup just few weeks ahead of their one-year wedding anniversary.
Nick Cannon, who tied the knot with the singer at her Bahamian estate in last April, got his diva partner an eight-week Jack Russell terrier, reports China Daily.
He said: "I got her a short-haired Jack Russell terrier - a girl named Cha-Cha. She's eight weeks."
The rapper further hinted of having a second wedding as part of their anniversary celebrations.
The actor added: "We have spoken about it, and it's coming up - that's all I can say. We are going to do what we said we were going to do from the very beginning." (ANI)
|India offers to sell 200 MW of electricity to Nepal|World[Kathmandu{Kathmandu, Apr 1 (ANI): The Power Trading Corporation (PTC) of India has proposed to sell 200 MW electricity to Nepal.
Nepal did not respond to India's proposal to sell 500 MW electricity made last week.
An amended proposal has already been faxed to the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA), Nepalnews quoted Chairman and Managing Director of PTC Tantra Narayan Yadav, as saying.
The revision was made keeping in view NEA's concern over surplus electricity during rainy season when production increases after a few years.
The PTC has however offered to buy back the surplus electricity at the same rate when Nepal does not need it.
Uttar Kumar Shrestha, Executive Director of the NEA, said that he would take the proposal to the NEA board.
The PTC could maintain the supply for next 20 to 25 years with a single unit costing IRs three (NRs 4.80). The NEA has declared that the country will have to cope with load-shedding for next five years due to a huge gap in demand and supply of power. High voltages cross border transmission lines need to be constructed to import electricity in large quantity. If the proposal is accepted cross-border transmission lines will be constructed from Muzzafarpur of India to Dhalkebar of Nepal.The proposal mentions that India will construct the transmission lines up to Nepal border and Nepal should construct the transmission lines from Nepal border.
