Washington, Mar 29: United States said on Saturday, Mar 28 that it will not get involved in the Kashmir issue, but offered help tp India and Pakistan to build more trust and confidence.
US National Security Adviser (NSA), General James Jones said, "Kashmir is a separate issue." He said his nation prefers 'constructive diplomacy' as President Barack Obama said, with India and Pakistan to ease the tension between them. "We don't intend to get involved in that (Kashmir) issue, but we do intend to help both countries ... build more trust and confidence so that Pakistan can address the issues that it confronts on the western side of the nation," Jones said.
"...we think that the times are so serious that we need to build the trust and confidence in the region," Jones added.
