New Delhi, Mar 29: After Manmohan Singh, the Indian Prime Minister refused his offer for a live TV debate, L K Advani, Bharatiya Janata Party's prime ministerial candidate now calls on Congress President Sonia Gandhi for the same.

Advani said in an election rally in Padrauna, "I have told the PM several times that it would be so nice that like in foreign countries (US presidential debate), we should also have a debate. Instead of a BJP public meeting, the Election Commission could organise a meeting (for the debate). "If the Prime Minister is not willing (for a debate), he can ask the Congress President (Sonia Gandhi)," he added.

The TV debate can be done on the aegis of Election Commission of India as such dialogues must occur as the PM is answerable to the people of the nation said the senior BJP leader.
