CBI wants Raju to undergo lie detector test
New Delhi, Mar 26: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Thursday, Mar 26 said that it wants the Satyam Computers Services founder Ramalinga Raju to undergo a lie detect:or test in connection with the multi-billion fraud at the IT major.
“We have filed an application in a Hyderabad court that we would like to do a polygraph test on Raju. Because we feel that Raju has not shared everything with us. We need more evidences. This is a case of corporate fraud," CBI Director Ashwani Kumar told reporters in a press conference here.
Besides Raju, the CBI also wants his brother B. Rama Raju and former Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Vadlamani Srinivas to undergo the test.
On Jan 7, Raju confessed that he had cooked the company"s account books and inflated profits over the past several years.
