Hatred & anger blind you: Rahul on Varun's speech

Puducherry, Mar 25: AICC General Secretary Rahul Gandhi said that he doesn't 'carry hate and anger' and was taken aback by Varun Gandhi's inflammatory speeches.

Rahul evaded question on his cousin Varun Gandhi's hate speech and said Varun is entitled to his own opinions. He did not comment further saying that his sister had already spoken on the issue, he wouldn't like to talk on that again. He was speaking at a press conference in Puducherry on Wednesday, Mar 25.

"Those are his views. I have my views. I don't carry hate and anger with me. Hatred and anger blind you," Rahul Gandhi said..

Rahul endorses Manmohan:
Rahul Gandhi defending Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said that he has acheived a lot for India."Manmohan Singh is not a weak Prime Minister. He has achieved a lot for the country and not buckled under terrorism," he added.

When asked about Advani, he said: "He is a senior leader. I can't make comments about him. I am a youngster. I can only make comments about my leader."

He also praised Manmohan Singh for the signing of the India-US nuclear deal and diplomatic pressure on Pakistan after the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks, besides the economic growth of the country.

LTTE killed my Dad
As a surprise element, Rahul Gandhi for the first time commented on LTTE. “LTTE killed my father so I am not particularly fond of it," Rahul said.
