London, March 22 (ANI): A British newspaper alleges it has evidence that Senior Labour MP Nigel Griffiths cheated on his wife by having sex with a brunette inside House of Commons.
According to News of the World, the 53-year-old disgraced his marriage and Parliament office after smuggling the woman into his study on Remembrance Day, the day the country honours its war heroes.
Griffiths, who has been married to Sally McLaughlin since 1979, was claimed to have recorded his hour-long midnight sex with the lady on the sofa in the oak-panelled study on November 11 last year.
The newspaper said a shot in the footage showed a numbered door key in a lock labelled 'POW'-Palace of Westminster.
It added, "one shot reveals the woman in a pair of black stockings and G-string. She then sits and kneels on the standard green House of Commons sofa-next to a litter bin containing a file marked 'Confidential' and bearing the MP's name."
The pair were then claimed to have shifted their location where the former minister, a close friend of the British Prime Minister Gordon Brown, "stripped off and joined the girl in a variety of sex acts."
The paper further said that on being confronted with his alleged shamed conduct, Griffiths slammed the accusations as 'outrageous".
He said: "Fabricated evidence! You must have some fabricated evidence! Outrageous! Absolutely outrageous!" (ANI)
