Pak: Zardari urges opposition to 'forget the past'
Islamabad, Mar 21: After Pakistan President, Asif Ali Zardari restored the sacked judges, he made an attempt to mend fences with the opposition parties by stating that it was time to forget the past and move on.
"The restoration of judges sacked during the 2007 emergency by former President Pervez Musharraf should be seen as another step in the evolutionary process of strengthening (Pakistan's) institutions," Zardari said addressing a farewell dinner he hosted for outgoing Supreme Court Chief Justice Abdul Hamid Dogar on Friday, Mar 20 night.
He finally said that it is time to move on and forget the past.
