North Korea detains US journalists
Seoul, Mar 19: A report in a South Korean daily states that to US journalists are detained by the North Korean army along the northern border. The duo were shooting film across the river Tumen from the Chinese side of the border. Official sources claim that there were detained after the duo ignored warnings to stop filming.
Laura Ling, a Chinese-American, and Euna Lee, a Korean-American, are reportedlydetained by North Korean border guards. The US embassy and North Korean officials are holding talks about the release of the scribes.
