London, Mar 14 (ANI): Cheryl Cole and pop hunk Robbie Williams auctioned their clothes to raise funds for charity.

As millions of Brits "did something funny for money", X Factor judge Cole auctioned a fleece she wore on her Kilimanjaro Climb last week.

And Williams put a "laydees'" nightie he sported in the Little Britain sketch screened last night, up for sale to help charity Comic Relief to raise 50 million pounds.

The Girls Aloud singer's fellow celeb mountaineer Radio 1 DJ Chris Moyles, 35, also donated his trousers from the adventure.

"The current economic climate may affect the amount of cash in people's pockets," the Daily Star quoted Comic Relief marketing boss Michele Settle as saying.

"But we know from experience that the compassion they feel towards people living unimaginably tough lives will not and does not decrease," she added.

Around 20 million pounds have been raised so far and the bidding is expected to top 40million pounds, despite the credit crunch. (ANI)
