New Delhi, Mar 13: Bihar Chief Minister and JD(U) leader Nitish Kumar arrived to the capital on Thursday, Mar 12 night to hold discussions with the top BJP leaders including LK Advani regarding a seat-sharing formula in Bihar.

BJP has plans of announcing its candidates after the Central Election Committee (CEC) meeting on Friday, Mar 13. JD(U) is also meeting to take some key decisions ahead of Lok Sabha polls. JD(U) is insisting on two more seats from Kishanganj and Madhubani as the two places provide boost for the alliance. 24-16 formula has been planned in out favour of the two places. Under the last arrangement, BJP gets 16 seats.

According to sources, after the BJP-BJD alliance collapse in Orissa, BJP is on a defensive and may succumb to the demand of its alliance partner and may 'compensate the extra seat' given to JD(U) in Bihar by having more seats in Jharkhand in Uttar Pradesh from JD(U).
