Govt officials plotting to kill me: Nawaz Sharif
Lahore, Mar 12: Pakistan Mulism League- Nawaz ( PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif has accused the govt of running an 'elected dictatorship' that is plotting to kill him. Sharif, the opposition party leader told in a interview that Asif Ali Zardari, the President was ruling under a cloak of democracy but his policies would only benefit extremist elements.

Sharif
said
"I
have
recently
received
certain
information
from
credible
sources
about
certain
forces
who
are
active
against
me.
Threats
to
my
life
come
from
high-ranking
government
officials,
certain
topmost
people
in
the
government,
my
sources
say." Sharif'
statement
comes
as
the
govt
arrested
hundreds
of
political
activists,
lawyers
and
human
rights
campaingers
before
a
planned
mass
opposition
rally
this
week.
