New Delhi, Mar 9: Starting the countdown for the 2010 Commonwealth Games (CWG) the traditional Queen's Baton was unveiled in the national Capital on Sunday, Mar 8.
The Baton which will start its journey from the Buckingham Palace in Nov was unveiled by the Delhi Governor Tejendra Khanna at a spectacular ceremony.
The multi-colour hi-tech baton will pass through all participating 71 nations before reaching final destination New Delhi in Oct next year were the Commonwealth Ggames will take place.
The event organised at the India Gate was witnessed by 50,000 people.
