Islamabad, Mar 9: It seems army has begun to flex its muscles in Pakistan. Army chief General Ashfaq Kiyani warned President Asif Ali Zardari to clean up the mess and take effective steps to curb the menace of terrorism or face consequence. 'Perform or perish' was the warning given by Kiyani to Zardari who is busy in settling political scores with former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
Kiyani, the former Inter Service Intelligence (ISI) chief had asked the Pak President to set things right before the protest march by lawyers and supporters of Nawaz Sharif to demand the reinstatement of Supreme Court judges sacked by former President Pervez Musharraf.
The peace in sub-continent will be at stake if another military coup occurs and army takes control in Pakistan.
