Air Marshall Suleman appointed new Pakistan Air Force chief
Islamabad, Mar.9 (ANI): Air Marshal ao Qamar Suleman has been appointed the new Chief of Air Staff (CAS) of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) by President Asif Ali Zardari, The Daily Times reports.
"President Asif Ali Zardari, in consultation with the Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani, appointed Air Marshal Rao Qamar Suleman as the CAS," a statement released by the Pak Presidency said.
The present Air Chief Marshal, Tanvir Mahmood Ahmed would be retiring from the post on March 20 after the completion of his tenure of three years. (ANI)
