26/11: Mumbai Police answer Pak's query

Mumbai, Mar 7: Mumbai police on Saturday, Mar 7 submitted answers to Pakistan's 30 questions on the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks dossier to the Centre.

The answers will be part of the chargesheet that Mumbai police submitted to the Centre on Feb 25.

The Mumbai Crime Branch had filed a 7,000 paged chargesheet against Kasav and 19 others for waging war against country. Azam Amir Kasav, the lone terrorist captured in the Mumbai terror attacks will be tried under IPC and Cyber Law. He is chargesheeted for entering CST without ticket, murder and attempt to murder.

Apart from Kasav, Fahim Ansari and Sabahuddin, Lashkar-e-Toiba militants (LeT) are also chargesheeted.

The 26/11 chargesheet contains Kasav's confession, Kasav's phonecalls, GPS record, Pakistan's involvement in Mumbai terror attacks, Kasav's DNA and the match of his DNA with 16 articles found in the fishing vessel, Kuber.

Lashkar masterminds Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi and Zarar Shah have also been named in the chargesheet.
