Washington, March 4 (ANI): If The Faces reunite, they will do so only for a couple of summer shows and not a full tour, say reports.
The reports also suggest that the band's frontman Rod Stewart may or may not join in.
The group, consisting of Stewart, Ian MCLagan, Kenney Jones and Ronnie Wood, reformed for a series of top secret rehearsals last year, following which it was suggested that they might begin a full tour.
Even wood suggested after Christmas last year that the bandmates couldn't wait to hit the road.
However, negotiations fell flat last month.
MCLagan now says that the band may make a comeback for a handful of concerts.
"(The idea is) we do a couple shows and film it. Whether Rod (Stewart) wants to do that... I'm hoping he'll be into that 'cause it'll be such a lot of fun. It's what the three of us would like Rod to agree to," Contactmusic quoted him as telling Billboard.com.
"I'll get a call eventually, and maybe we'll do something in June or July, 'cause I don't want to do anything next year. I'm not gonna wait again... It's now or never! I've got my fingers crossed, but I'm not going to waste energy trying to make it happen. I've worked for 30 years trying to make it happen. It's now in the lap of the gods - or the hands of Rod, maybe," he added. (ANI)
