Impounded car forces Argentina's Tevez to hitch

By Super Admin

London, Feb.27 (ANI): Millionaire football star Carlos Tevez is nicknamed the Hitcher because he takes lifts from his Manchester United teammates.

They are helping him out after cops impounded his 140,000 Bentley, reports The Sun.

Officers stopped the Argentinian near the club's training ground because his windows were too dark - then discovered he might not be allowed to drive in the UK.

The Bentley is now stuck on the drive of the star's 1.8 million pound home at Alderley Edge, Cheshire, while the matter is sorted out.

Tevez, 25, could be prosecuted for driving without a valid licence. He was given a prohibition notice about his tinted windows.

"The bus wasn't an option so he had no choice but to ask favours from the team for lifts. The lads have been very accommodating - but they call him the Hitcher," said a source. (ANI)
