Girl looking for job sold, raped in Delhi
New Delhi, Feb 25: She came to Delhi with lots of hope to find a job for herself. Her dreams shattered as she fell prey into the hands of human traffickers.
This 16-year-old girl from Haryana came to Delhi looking for a job, was lured by a woman at the railway station. She allegedly sold the girl for Rs 1 lakh to two people. Later the girl was repeatedly raped by three persons who bought her.
Delhi police have arrested two persons on charges of purchasing and repeatedly raping the girl.
The incident came to light when the girl somehow escaped from the clutches of these men and managed to reach the Murthal police station in Sonepat district last week.
Both the arrested persons, one of them who allegedly bought the girl, were from Sonepat district, police said.
