Washington, Feb 24: Bobby Jindal, the Indian American Republican Governor of Louisiana said on Monday, Feb 23 that he 'fundamentally disagreed' with US President Barack Obama's $787 billion rescue package. Jindal even accused Obama for not having a 'bi-partisan approach' on the stimulus plan.
In the CNBC news channel's weekly 'Meet the Press' programme he said that Obama failed to gain the confidence of 'Republicans'. He added that government spending will not solve country's economic challenges. Jindal said that for the economy to revive, the private sector should expand. It should hire more and create more jobs.
