Try Kasav in India: Pakistan

Islamabad, Feb 22: Pakistan Defence Minister Chaudhry Ahmed Mukhtar on Saturday, Feb 22, took a different stand from rest of the key people of the nation by saying that Kasav aka Mohammad Ajmal Amir Iman should be tried in India. Kasav the only terrorist caught alive after 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks committed the crime in India so he should undergo trial, said Mukhtar.

A senior leader of ruling Pakistan People's Party, Mukhtar said the 6 suspected arrested in connection with the Mumbai attacks will undergo trial in Pakistan. Two other accused are still at large. Four of the detained suspects are under Federal Investigation Agency's custody till March 4.
