Rahul Gandhi on two-day visit in Modi's Gujarat
Gandhi Nagar (Gujarat), Feb.22 (ANI): Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi is undertaking a two day visit to Gujarat which includes interaction with weavers in Bhujodi Village and kick starting youth Congress campaign in Bhuj town.
Rahul, during this visit that started on today here, will have quite an enagaing schedule which includes visit to several places and interaction with public and congressmen. He will visit Rajkot, Patan and other places.
In Rajkot, Rahul is scheduled to meet local youth Congress leaders at Kishanpara Chowk and interact with women from the Young Women's Convention at Hemu Gadhvi Hall.
Rahul will then visit the Mahatma Gandhi monument Kasturba Dham in Tramba village on the outskirts of the city. Later, he will fly to Danta in Banaskantha where to meet Congress workers and take part in the enrolment drive. After that he will then go to Ambaji where he will make a night halt.
On Monday, Rahul is to visit Ambaji temple and from there he would fly to Mehsana, Patan, Himmatnagar, Gandhinagar and then come to Ahmedabad.
In Ahmedabad, Rahul would visit enrolment booth at Soham Hotel on Naroda Highway and then visit Shahpur and Indulal Yagnik Statue near Nehru Bridge and take account of the enrolment drive. From here he would attend a meeting of young professionals at Bhaikaka Hall near Law Garden and meet editors of the leading newspapers before flying back to the capital. (ANI)
