PM candidate, Advani kickstarts LS campaign polls
Gandhinagar, Feb 20: Eighty year old, BJP's prime ministerial candidate kickstarted the poll campaign for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections 2008 from his constituency, Gandhinagar, on Friday, Feb 20.
Advani has won four times from Gandhinagar constituency. The robust Advani kicked off his campaign with some muscle flexing for the cameras at the inauguration of a gymnasium complex building by Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation in Vadaj area.
He will be attending six function on Friday, Feb 20 in his Lok Sabha constituency. He will address a public rally at Gandhinagar later in the day.
Later
in
the
day,
he
will
finalise
the
poll
strategy
for
this
seat
for
delimitation.
Kalol
and
Sanand
are
the
two
new
assembly
segments
added
in
the
Gandhinagar
seat.
BJP's
online
campaign:
Bharthiya
Janta
Party
(BJP)
is
also
gathering
support
of
bloggers
with
its
online
campaign
'Bloggers
for
Advani'.
They
earlier
launched
a
blog
and
massive
online
advertising
campaign
to
create
awareness
about
Prime
Minister
candidate.
Considering large size of Indian blogosphere, BJP will surely gather considerable support from this new campaign.
