Lincoln best US President, Bush ranked 32
Washington, Feb 17: Former United States President Abraham Lincoln was ranked as the best President in a survey conducted among the 65 historians. In a survey conducted by C-SPAN channel, Abraham Lincoln, the first US President, George Washington and 'new deal' architect Franklin D Roosevelt were ranked the top 3 out of the 42 men who led the country.
Meanwhile, the former US President George W Bush, who left office last month after 8-year tenure was ranked 36th, just ten spots behind Richard Nixon, who quit the post after the Watergate scandal exposed him. George Bush got the 41st rank in regard to international relations, in economic management he was placed 40th. He got his highest rank, that is 24th in having 'pursued equal justice for all'.
