Mohali, Feb 16: The Chand Mohammad and Fiza love saga took one more turn on Monday, Feb 16, with Fiza, the second wife of former Haryana deputy chief minister Chander Mohan filing a police complaint accusing him of 'rape, hurting religious sentiments, cheating, defamation and criminal intimidation'.

She filed complaint against Chand with the SAS Nagar (Mohali) police. Amid reports that Chand Mohammed, the son of former chief minister Bhajan Lal had gone abroad, Anuradha Bali alias Fiza, a former Haryana assistant advocate-general, filed the criminal complaint before the Punjab police and also sent copies of it to the National Women Commission, Punjab State Human Rights Commission and Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda.

Responding to her complaint, Mohali"s senior superintendent of police(SSP) Jatinder Singh Aulakh has ordered an inquiry into the complaint and asked SP Varinder Pal Singh to personally probe and submit a report at the earliest.

Fiza alleged that Chand"s act of marrying her by converting to Islam was just aimed at committing fraud and having sexual relations with her. “Our marriage, which was never intended to last long, was only a camouflaging fact that marriage had taken place giving him right to have sexual intercourse with me," noted Fiza, while calling it rape.

Chander Mohan married Anuradha Bali alias Fiza, Assistant Advocate General of Haryana, by converting to Islam in December 2008. After staying for nearly one-and-a-half months at Fiza"s house, Chand Mohammmed left her on January 28, 2009.
