Multan, Feb 16: After accepting the part use of its soil in plotting the Mumbai terror attacks, Pakistan, in a bid to distract attention from its future course of action regarding the probe, has now stated that the Samjhauta Express and Mumbai attacks were interlinked.

Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi told mediapersons here that further investigations could only be initiated if New Delhi answers Islamabad's queries regarding 26/11.

"If India wanted to punish the culprits of the Mumbai attack it should reply to the 30 questions raised by Pakistan because answers to these questions were necessary for completion of investigation," The Dawn quoted Qureshi, as saying.

The queries included details of fingerprints of the 10 gunmen, their intercepted phone conversations with their handlers and the DNA samples of lone surviving terrorist Azam Amir Kasav.

Pakistan's Interior Minister Rehman Malik while putting the questions had asked India to provide the answers if it wanted to secure convictions in the Mumbai massacre.

Qureshi confirmed that Pakistan has shared its 26/11 investigation reports with the international community, including the G-8 countries.
