Plane crashes into a house in New York
Just In: 48 passengers feared dead
-State Trooper John Manthey says the plane hit a house in Clarence around 10.10 pm EST (0310 GMT).
- Two injured people hospitalised were not on the plane.
-Continental Express flight 3407, operated by Colgan Air, had reportedly been delayed, and was approaching the airport in Buffalo two hours later than scheduled.
- Two houses were affected by the crash. Twelve other homes in the area were also evacuated because of the fuel left over in the plane.
-The flight took off from Newark and headed to Buffalo.
New York, Feb 13: An airplane carrying 50 passengers crashed into a house in New York. Reports suggests that two are taken to the hospital and 48 are still on board. Massive fire is reported at the crash site.
The flight, 3407 was flying from New York to Buffalo. Reason for the crash not known.
