Kathmandu, Feb 12 (ANI): Nepal Prime Minister Prachanda has said that the government would take forward the process of drafting the new Constitution and end entirely the problems gripping the country.

Speaking at a discussion on the management of teams to be deployed in the districts for the collection of public opinion organised at Singha Durbar here on Wednesday, Prachanda expressed commitment on behalf of the government.

"There are different kinds of problems in Tarai, west and east region of the country but, the government has already initiated the process to resolve the problem through discussion with political parties and the stakeholders," Kantipur quoted him as saying.

He said that the entire government body including administrative and security mechanism will strive for the drafting of the new Constitution.

Prachanda opined that the country should send a message to the global community by drafting the new Constitution in a democratic process.

"We can also give a message to the world that a new Constitution is being written in Nepal in a truly democratic way," he said.

Meanwhile, Constituent Assembly Chairman Subhash Chandra Nemwang drew the government's attention to prepare the management for the teams to be deployed in districts for collecting the people's opinion.

He urged the government to make necessary arrangements including logistics and security for the teams that will go to districts to collect public opinion for the drafting the new Constitution. (ANI)
