Mumbai, Feb 11 (ANI): Force India launched a reality show in collaboration with an entertainment channel in Mumbai on Tuesday.
Airline baron Vijay Mallya along with Bollywood star Deepika Padukone and video jockey Rannvijay, flagged off the hunt.
Twenty girls will be short listed through auditions to take part in the show at the end of which four will be selected to become the speed divas for the Force India team.
The four chosen girls will travel with the Force India team to the Formula One Grand Prix's around the world and they will also get a chance to feature in the Force India calendar to be shot by Atul Kasbekar.
Talking to mediapersons, Deepika Padukone said that she used to play badminton which required a lot of strength mental and physical and these qualities are also required in formula one racing.
"It is very fast sport and you have to be really quick on your feet and it's a game that requires a lot of strength mental and physical. I think these are some of the qualities that racing also requires," said Padukone.
Narain Karthikeyan became India's first Formula One driver in 2005.
India will host its first Formula One grand prix in 2010. (ANI)
