SEBI seeks permission to quiz Vadlamani
Hyderabad, Feb 10: The Securities Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has filed a petition seeking the court"s nod to question former Satyam Computers CFO Vadlamani Srinivas and PricewaterHouse sacked executives S Gopalakrishnan and Talluri Srinivas.
Petition has been accepted by the court. Meanwhile, the crime Investigation Department (CID) will seek surrender of Ram Mynampati, former CEO of Satyam Computers. In this regard CID has written a letter to the new board of Satyam to summon him to Hyderabad for questioning.
A senior CID official said the department is waiting for board"s response to their request. “If the board does not respond, we will initiate the process for his extradition," the official told.“We will wait for some more days for the board to reply," the official added.
However,
the
extradition
will
take
time
as
Ram
Mynampati
is
a
US
citizen,
admitted
the
official.
No
case
has
been
filed
against
Mynapathi
as
of
now.
If
new
Satyam
board
give
negative
response
on
Mynampathi,
a
FIR
would
be
filed
against
him.
