Mumbai, Feb 10: Faheem Ansari, one of the key accused in the Mumbai terror attacks said that he was sexually harassed by one of the lady officer of Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) who reportedly interrogated him in Mumbai.
Ansari's lawyer Ejaz Naqvi, has filed an application before an Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate alleging that a lady FBI officer, who had interrogated the accused, had 'sexually harassed him all through the night.'
The court issued a notice on Monday, Feb 9 to Mumbai Crime Branch and directed the investigating body to file their reply to the application by Feb 26. Ansari's application also made an appeal to sent him for medical check-up as he has developed 'itches and wounds all over his body.'
"Ansari had been interrogated by three FBI officers out of which one of them, a lady officer, had sexually abused him," Naqvi told the court. The accused had earlier filed a plea seeking action against the Mumbai police for reportedly allowing the FBI to question him.
Fahim Ansari (suspected Lashker e Toiba operative) is also the prime accused in the Rampur Central Reserve Police Force camp attack on Jan 1, 2008.
